Client: Private

Project Value: £1.0m | Location: Tamworth, Warwickshire

Following a major fire in January 2018, we were appointed to restore this large private dwelling for re-habitation. The entire structure was extensively restored and refurbished.

After the damaged and unsafe elements of the structure had been removed, nothing remained above first-floor ceiling level. Scaffolding was erected and cocoon-style tent protect it from the elements so work could begin.

A new second-floor was created, providing a safe platform to reinstate the walls, gables and chimney stacks. Steelwork, timbers and prefabricated roof trusses then followed. The roof was felted, and slate tiles installed.

In addition to the structural works, we assisted the homeowners in their selection of interior design features, such as the kitchen layout, sanitary ware choices, floor finishes, painting schemes and external finishes.
