During our most recent CCS inspection at the Centenary Road development in Mansfield, our site team achieved a perfect score of 45/45 — the highest possible rating across all three CCS pillars:
- Respect the Community – 15/15
- Care for the Environment – 15/15
- Value their Workforce – 15/15
This exceptional result reflects the consistently high standards maintained by the site team and the numerous new initiatives implemented to support the community, protect the environment, and foster a positive site culture. The Monitor commended the team for “maintaining their high standards” and delivering “an impressive level of support for the local community,” emphasising their “genuine commitment to continuously improving standards” on the project.
Shortlisted for the CCS SME Construction Excellence Award
Our dedication to the CCS Code of Considerate Practice has also been recognised at a national level. Mercer Building Solutions Ltd was shortlisted for the CCS SME Construction Excellence Award, a testament to the consistent quality delivered across all our registered activities.
In November, our team had the privilege of attending the prestigious CCS National Awards Ceremony, held at the iconic Natural History Museum in London — an inspiring celebration of best practice across the UK construction industry.

We are delighted that every one of our CCS‑registered schemes has achieved an ‘Excellent’ rating, reaffirming our position as a contractor that sets—and maintains—industry‑leading standards. This includes demonstrating best practice across community engagement, environmental responsibility, and workforce wellbeing, with initiatives ranging from electric vehicle adoption and carbon reduction planning, to weekly recognition schemes, modern slavery awareness training, and enhanced welfare provision for site teams.
