Thanks to our Site Manager and Contracts Manager for hosting an informative site tour this morning in Heanor. We were joined by an enthusiastic group of students from Vision West Nottinghamshire College on site in Heanor where we are constructing 31 new homes for EMH Group.
The group are enrolled on the Women in Construction course, a free 12-week course tailored for women who are considering a career in the construction industry or wishing to learn basic skills for household DIY projects. The course provides a range of basic training concentrating on the main elements of the industry in a small supportive women only environment.
This is the second visit we have hosted, the first took place on our Cheltenham Road site in Corby in November 2022.
We look forward to welcoming more students to our sites in the future.
