This project involved the construction of 11 new homes across four former garage sites in Badby, Great Oxendon, Moulton and East Farndon. Having become a target for antisocial behaviour, the regeneration of these sites not only provided much needed family housing, but greatly improved the areas for the local communities.
The small-scale developments contain a mix of property types including terraced, semi-detached, and detached houses, bungalows, and flats. Homes have either 2, 3 or 4-bedrooms.
To help reduce local social housing shortages the properties were available for affordable rent, with the exception of four detached properties, two at Badby and two at Great Oxendon, which were sold on the open market with profits going back into delivering more affordable housing in the future.
As this was Futures first scheme of its type, we assisted with specification design to finalise the kitchens, bathrooms, and tiling requirements in each property.
