Client: Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA)
Project Value: £1.5m | Location: Grantham, Nottinghamshire
The construction of 14 homes on a plot of land previously occupied by a large derelict property and outbuildings. Our client, known to many as NCHA, received grant funding from Homes England for the scheme which offers a choice of affordable and shared ownership tenures.
The rectangular-shaped development comprises a mix of six houses with either two or three bedrooms, and eight two-bed bungalows, providing accessible layouts for people with limited mobility. Each property has associated parking for one or two vehicles.
Site-wide infrastructure works include the formation of a new road and pedestrian access, along with the installation and connection of utilities and telecoms services. The soft-landscaping design incorporates several retained trees and shrubs which have been mixed with newly planted hedgerows.
